Working as the lead UI designer I went through the human centered design process to create a mobile application to aid college kids in having access to fresh produce from grocers.

As a Marketing Specialist I take care of maintaining accuracy on the website with product postings, creating new SKUs based on customer needs, content creation, and maintaining marketplace postings on Amazon and Walmart Seller Centrals.
Collaborated with other writers to implement a social media strategy that can be sustained once we are gone. Our social media strategy has overall increased engagement in the magazine. We have reached 322.4% more accounts between March 2 - March 31 than we did in the previous month.
Collaborating with other writers and editors is a huge part of being successful on The Current. Frequently we were asked to quickly write and edit content such as the "wrap-up" list or the Events section of the magazine, it was one of my favorite parts!
As a team we met our first deadline and completed 70 pages between August 28th and October 20th. Our success was due to the effective workflows and communication channels we have in place as well as our healthy relationships as staff members.
Created a professional and active social media presence, increasing our Instagram following by 3.2% over the first month. I led four other staff members, organizing meetings, delegating responsibilities, and instigating social media campaigns to engage students around campus.
Learned about digital accessibility tips and WCAG 2.1 standards to make informed design decisions.
Attend and hold meetings to network and learn with my peers and professionals in the field of Accessibility. Also building relationships with professionals in the accessibility field through LinkedIn and ADP List and invite them to speak for our 10-20 active members.
Communicate with the club through email, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams to ensure everyone is informed and content.
Worked with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva to create weekly content such as informational posters, Instagram posts, YouTube thumbnails, and even stickers, for 4 radio shows and 20+ clients in the construction and planning industry.
Effectively communicated the User Interface that Property District desires for their Place Engage App through a series of low fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes using old fashioned pencil and paper as well as Figma.
Assisted in successful social media campaigns by brainstorming new ideas, keeping a professional image and demeanor with the clients, and giving my opinion on photos and other marketing material.
Completed the book on by our deadline for the first time since COVID by individually managing our time as a team and creating on average, 10 design elements and 4 spreads every week using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, and other design resources.
Properly adhered to the style guide, design systems, and theme of the book, to design spreads that were cohesive with the other designers while still being original and creative.
Upheld the standards of ASMSU by designing with the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and community in mind to include and properly represent our 40,000+ undergraduate students.
Worked well as a design team by ensuring there was time each week to collaborate, provided/received feedback from each other, and respected one another's design flows and personalities.
Update the magazine's current webpages using WordPress/Elementor so that all information is accurate for the new semester.
Meet frequently as a team to discuss new ideas to improve the accessibility and experience of the VIM website.
Conducted research methods such as surveys and A/B testing among members of other teams to gain an understanding of what they wanted the website to be like.
